Publisher's Synopsis
Horror film adapted by Jack Ketchum from his own novel. George Peters (Art Hindle), the boozy retired sheriff of a small seaside town in Maine, is called back into action after a series of grisly murders occur in his patch. The crimes are eerily reminiscent of an outbreak of house break-ins and abductions which took place several years before, and turned out to be the work of a cave-dwelling clan of primal dwellers with cannibalistic urges. Can the flesh-eating primitives be stopped before they strike again?
