Reece, hero of THE DARK SHORE and THE SHADOW EATER, and his lover Jyoti do not enjoy their peaceful lives in New Arwar for long; a new outbreak of the Goblins Wars inflicts bloody carnage on the land and threatens their very lives. Meanwhile, Dogbrick, Reece's trusted friend, remains lost upon the Dark Shore, otherwise known by its inhabitants as Earth. There, Nox, leader of the Octoberland coven, has sensed his presence. Octoberland is dedicated to weaving ancient black magic and preserving the life of its centuries-old leader.
