About the IllustratorEsmeralda Martinez is an Artist, photographer and Illustrator who lives in New York. She has illustrated other books, and this is the first one of them being published.
Esmeralda loves sketching and drawing, she always carries a sketchbook to capture anything that sparks her curiosity.
She fell in love with painting after discovering the work of Vincent Van Gogh, still her favorite artist. Esmeralda always imagined herself as a book illustrator and did her first work illustrating books for her own kids.
Years later, after reading Olive the secret pet story, and meeting Olive in person, Esmeralda had the inner call to illustrate this book.
