Publisher's Synopsis
Nungadin and his sister Willijen are left alone in the bush while their parents go to collect honey. Willijen disappears when Nungadin leaves her alone to chase a blue crane. He is so heartbroken that he turns into a bird and spends his days flying from tree to tree calling her name.
