Publisher's Synopsis
November 21 is a humorous and heartwarming romance story that has a society similar to our own, but with one difference. The Pains, a biological phenomena that causes soulmates to share each other's wounds. From small bruises, to the pain of a broken bone, and even death, all is shared between two people. No one has been able to explain why the Pains occurs yet, but it effects everyone. November 21 follows the story of four people: Lauren Laveau, a 19 year old with a love for older men and a dark mental affliction; Andrew Donovan, an old actor who's desperate to find his soulmate, but fearful of what society will have to say about it; Molly Brand, Lauren's pun-loving best friend who's madly in love with an older woman; and Sarah Goode, Andrew's niece who is waiting for the true father of her son to come along and complete their family. Throughout the novel, the destiny's of these four entwine, where Lauren will meet her favorite actor in Washington, DC, and Molly will get to spend a week with the woman she loves. Andrew meets the love of his life, but lets her go when he realizes who it is. And Sarah, well, she's the catalyst for most of this, unknowingly leading herself into finding the final piece to the puzzle of her family. The only thing these four protagonists want is to be happy, but fear and doubt play the role of the antagonists, fighting against their happy endings. In the end, Andrew accepts his love for Lauren, and Molly confesses to Sarah that she knows they are soulmates. Each character finally gets what they wanted.
