Publisher's Synopsis
This book is born out of the observation that African, American and French churches, in spite of their numerous programs and activities, produce few true disciples of Jesus who are accompanying others in the way of discipleship. How can we explain the fact that so many of the faithful in our communities are so unlike their Master in their manner of thinking and acting? What might we change in our understandings and practices to facilitate the transformation of lives and spiritual multiplication? In responding to these questions, the author proposes a different ecclesial and missional paradigm in the attempt to better equip and empower believers in the mission they have received from Christ, to the glory of God.
