Avinash, the young protagonist of the story is not really keen on getting married. But he agrees to look at the prospective brides as he does not want to disappoint his parents. One such girl he gets to meet is Neha. Avinash honestly admits to Neha that he is not interested in marriage. When she asks him for the reason behind his decision, he recounts his past. He remembers Lisha, a beautiful girl he had fallen in love with during college. He also remembers how he and his friend were mistaken for a crime, caught by the cops and then spared.
