Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart was one of the most influential artists of German constructivism and, amongst other things, a member of the De Stijl group surrounding Piet Mondrain and Theo van Doesburg. Selected works and documents, some of them never before made public, present Vordemberge-Gildewart not only as a painter and graphic artist but also as an interior designer, typographer and architect.
