"When my son recently travelled to Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam on a recent vacation, I reflected on my year in Vietnam in the Army. After a few weeks of non-stop, 24 x 7 memories surfacing I decided to begin a memoir. When I mentioned this to my grandson, a Navy veteran, he said, "Papa that's a great idea as you have never spoken about your service in Vietnam to us."
