Publisher's Synopsis
Romance novelist Olivia Stevens is on a book0signing tour in Utah when she meets and is instantly attracted to Tim O'Neal, a small-town newspaper reporter. Problem: he's marred-very married. But she and Trim become friends and, when she meets Tim's wife, Keri, she becomes a friend as well. Two other couples in this small Utah town-bookstore owner Brent Campbell and his wife Elena and Gad and Margaret Benally, a Navajo couple who live next door to the O'Neals, also become friends. The Benallys' son, Paco (the love interest of Tim's daughter, Krystal), is an artist living in Taos, New Mexico, near Olivia's Santa Fe home. He is selling his paintings out of the gas station where he works, but Olivia is determined to get him into a gallery. While trying to deal with her growing feelings for Tim, she becomes involved in the lives of Paco and his three friends (she calls them 'her boys'). Then tragedy strikes as Tim and Keri are involved in a devastating car accident that takes Keri's life and leaves Tim in critical condition in a coma. Olivia, Krystal, and Paco put their lives on hold as they stay by Tim's side through his ordeal. What will happen if and when Tim recovers? Will Olivia have a chance to win his love?
