Nostalgia is in the Future and Other Exaggerations, short fiction by Laurence W. Thomas, includes stories of disparate content and style. In sharp contrast to the light nature of these, "The Analyst", "Onion Peeled", and the "The Wall" reveal the dark side of human nature and antisocial behavior: crimes committed and the pursuit of redemption. Taken together, these twenty tales present characters that are capricious, sinister, funny, naive, evil, bemused, bellicose, and real.
