Publisher's Synopsis
Copperheads are thick-bodied snakes that have fallen scales. They come in 5 assortments, including the Northern copperheads. These are venomous snakes with plain and copper-shaded heads. These snakes are reddish brown with those chestnut-brown patterns everywhere on their bodies. These patterns are cross bands that resemble hourglasses with their more extensive parts on the sides of the snakes. The smaller bit of these hourglass designs crosses the backs of these snakes through their tailbones.
