One day as older sister Avieka makes a small stop to run some errands in town, she meets the King and Queen of Augustopia. King Favian then offers her and her sister the chance to be the inventor and doctor of their dreams and even return the color. But at one cost... they help him defeat the culprit for taking the color to begin with... The Great Dragon.
During their quest they meet others such as the quiet and welcoming Pryjazny and Avieka's new love Yarkiy.
As they go on this grand journey, they learn more about themselves and most of all the Royals, and that they were so much more than people had assumed they were.
