However, there is a dark cloud on the horizon as the new couple find themselves being stalked by a psychopathic killer. In 'Midnight Bayou' (2009), Declan Fitzpatrick (Jerry O'Connell) buys New Orleans mansion Manet Hall on a whim despite rumours that the house is haunted. In 'Tribute' (2009), Brittany Murphy stars as Cilla McGowan, a former child star who moves into her deceased grandmother's old house. However, her hope for a quiet life is soon clouded by haunting dreams of her grandmother, an Oscar-winning actress who supposedly committed suicide in the house more than 30 years previously. With the help of her handsome new neighbour, graphic novelist Ford Sawyer (Jason Lewis), Cilla begins to delve into the past to uncover the truth behind her grandmother's mysterious death.
