Begriffsdefinition - Was ist ein Kompositum? Bei dem Ph�nomen der Komposition, auch Zusammensetzung genannt, l�sst sich nicht die eine richtige und ersch�pfende Definition nennen. In der Literatur sind zahlreiche Definitionsversuche verschiedener Autoren zu finden, die untereinander stets Bezug aufeinander nehmen. Eine gel�ufige Definition liefert hierbei Annegret Boll�e, die das Kompositum als ein Wortbildungsverfahren beschreibt, "bei dem mindestens zwei Lexeme zusammengef�gt" werden (1995:64). Die gr��te Produktivit�t besitzt dieses Verfahren bei der Bildung von Substantiven. Auch Adjektive und Verben k�nnen zusammengesetzt werden. Jedoch spielt die Komposition bei Ersteren (etwa sourd-muet, aigre-doux) lediglich eine untergeordnete Rolle. Zusammensetzungen von Verben wurden in der Vergangenheit nach heute nicht mehr produktiven Mustern gebildet (z.B. maintenir, bouleverser). Boll�e meint, dass heute einzig folgendes Muster produktiv sei: avoir faim, prendre froid, tenir t�te, faire face, faire gr�ve, faire escale. Allerdings ist nicht eindeutig klar, ob diese Form �berhaupt als Zusammensetzung anzusehen ist. Des Weiteren weist sie darauf hin, dass sich bei der Nominalkomposition prim�r das Problem der Unterscheidung zwischen Komposita (Wortbildungsprodukten) und freien syntaktischen F�gungen (oder Kollokationen) stellt. Um zu kl�ren, welche Verbindungen von zwei oder mehr Lexemen zu den Komposita gerechnet werden sollen und welche nicht, f�hrt sie folgende Bildungen als potentielle Kandidaten mit Beispielw�rtern an: A. Substantiv + Substantiv: cigarette-filtre, bar-restaurant. B. Verblexem + Substantiv: garde-robe, porte-monnaie, tire-bouchon. C. Bildungen aus gelehrten Konstituente
