No one on this earth asked to be born, got to choose what family to be born into, or knew what twists and turns life would have in store for them. Throughout the journey of my life, I have experienced many obstacles that should have broken me or perhaps killed me. There were many times when I felt like giving up, throwing in the towel, feeling like I had no will to live. I have experienced death, rejection, depression, health issues, and suffered with insecurity. I have been angry, felt alone, and suffered from abuse. It was only through my seeking God that I was able to get through some of the toughest and darkest days of my life. No, I am no doctor, life coach, or motivational speaker. I am a woman who has experienced the ups and downs of life and knows how God can turn tragedy into triumph. I want to speak to anyone who has ever felt like giving up. I have been there. I want to speak to those who every time you turn around it seems like its always something trying to throw you off your mission, trying to distract you form achieving or being who God called you to be. I have been there too. I want to speak to the fatherless, the rejected, the depressed, the hurt, the angry, the insecure, the abused. I have been all of those things. God allowed me to experience everything that I have been through for this very moment. He allowed me to overcome weapons formed against me so that I can tell others of His goodness and His mercy. I would be lying is I said it was easy. I would be lying if I said I did not stumble along the way. I would be lying if I said that everything happened overnight. This has been a lifelong journey for me, over 30 years, and God is still not finished with me yet. My goal is to use my story and the many battles I have fought to inspire those who feel like giving up, those who may not have anyone to encourage them. I want you to know that anything is possible with God and no matter what obstacles or challenges you may face, when you focus on God, seek Him, trust Him no matter how it may look or seem, NO WEAPON will be able to prosper in your life.
