Publisher's Synopsis
Ex-gunfighter. US Marshal. Vampire. In the dregs of the night, Jack Talon rides into a small Colorado town smothered in fear. Before he can bed down for the day, he rushes to save a woman in trouble. But instead of saving her, Jack is nearly torn apart by a man of supernatural strength. Jack soon learns that this town, isolated on the eastern plains, is plagued by makeshift men led by Robert Walton, a man well over 100 years old. If Jack can't find a way to stop the mad plans of Walton, everyone in town will die. Aided by several terrified locals, Jack vows to rid the town of this scourge. But this old man and his "children" might be the least of Jack's troubles.
