Publisher's Synopsis
Julie Mondolini, a runaway from Camden City, New Jersey, searches for her absentee father, to kill him. Instead, she finds her soul mate, Sergey, a.k.a. Coyote, a roustabout involved in the underworld of organized crime. Through him Julie becomes part of a gang. One of the gang's members, Slim Slinky Sally, a white heroin addict, befriends Julie and the two get caught in a love triangle along with Coyote; ultimately, resulting in Coyote's death during an attempted bank robbery, Julie already pregnant by him. Prior to getting caught and sentenced to thirty years in prison, Julie gives up her baby daughter to be raised by a foster parent.
