☺☺ Coloured pencils work very nicely. You'll get the best results using coloured pencils instead of markers.
☺☺☺ The best set: acrylic paints + coloured pencils (see video) can make colours more vivid. You will get a really nice artistic effect using coloured pencils and then dense acrylic paints.
☻ Watercolours (only with a copier - read the Tips below) We also offer different version of these colouring books printed on a smooth paper weighing 60 pounds that gives you high contrast, more details and absolute sharpness. With this edition you can use coloured pencils and acrylic paints concurrently. From the Author: I prefer coloured pencils as the main medium. Then I put some acrylic paints on it. This is the final retouch, which strengthens the colours or changes the photograph into a painting. I also like a Matte Opaque Gel Medium (also called Gelex, made by Liquitex). You can mix Gelex with your acrylic paints to help make them more opaque. Acrylic paints must be dense, without dilution with water. If you need a bright colour, just buy it ready for painting in the store. Too much water can destroy paper or photographs. You can mix acrylic colours, but you can not dilute them with water. Have a nice colouring. A Tip for the Watercolor Lovers and Artists: Plain paper is not suitable for painting with watercolors. But it's easy to remove pages or copy this book into watercolor paper sheets using a Light Box or copier (xerox) to paint via watercolours. With copier you can darken, lighten and enlarge pics to 18 x 24" or bigger format and next you can comfortably paint. Using our beautiful pictures as sketches you can not only color, but also practice your painting to become a better artist. Double Set Edition: There are two copies of every image in this book: -with- and -without- margins. If you have no experience with grayscale colouring books and you made a mistake, you can improve your works. If you are an advanced colourist you can paint with different colours. Self-Luminous (Phosphorescent) Paints: There are even paints that glow in the dark. The image will have two sets of colours: for viewing at night and day. Try them and enjoy.
