Publisher's Synopsis
New York City has inspired artists across the years and across media. This 2020 weekly engagement calendar showcases Gotham in paintings, photographs, prints, and textiles by such artists as Walker Evans, Edward Hopper, Berenice Abbott, Faith Ringgold, and Romare Bearden. Accompanying the images are brief texts with insights about the works of art and their makers. Pages alternate between glossy paper for art pages and matte paper for calendar pages for ease of writing.
