Designed to be accessible to children, this pack about refugees contains seven illustrated children's booklets. Each booklet describes real life accounts of the experiences of children and families around the world who have been uprooted from home. The teacher's handbook suggests a range of activities to help young children make links between their own experiences and those of the children in the stories. The activities are grouped under broad themes: leaving home; journeys; life in a new home; and welcoming newcomers.
