Publisher's Synopsis
The medium literature encourages the society to discuss different interpretations of the past since the narratives lead to a construction of historical processes and to a consistent reinterpretation of figures, spaces and time. Literature reacts rapidly and seismographically to social changes which are adapted and processed subjectively by authors. The contributions in this volume focus on literary writings in which issues of the German and Polish history play a significant role. This is linked to the attempt to focus on writings in which the way and manner of the aesthetic codes of historical facts lead to new perceptions and hint at particular perspective strategies in recent literature.
