This book is a surreal story of a teenage boy who loses his mother and after his father marries another woman, she throws him out of the house and boy is forced to continue his life into the pit digged as a temporary shelter during the war time in the middle of the village. During the period he spent in the pit some events happens for him that changes his world view and way of thinking and enables him to see thins and to understand issues that a normal person cannot see those things and understand those issues.
