After the death of his parents in a tragic accident, Nalanthian Talloway is forced to live with his uncle, a Black Friar, in a secluded mountain priory. Nalan soon discovers a strange box with a cryptic message. In order to find the meaning of the box, Nalan escapes the priory and heads to Toledo where he meets the mysterious Danika Vaughn. Finding himself accused of crimes he did not commit and persued by the FBI's new STU division, Nalan must trust Danika's underground network if he is to find the secret the government will do anything to hide- the secret of the Conservative Paridigm.
