NSSC English Second Edition is a course consisting of two Learner's Book Modules, an Answer Book and a Teacher's Guide. The course has been written and designed to prepare students for the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate (NSSC). Features of the books include: modules divided into units, each focusing on a different theme relevant and informative themes, which appeal to Namibian learners stimulating and thought-provoking activities, designed to encourage critical thinking challenging reading passages that expose learners to the works of different African authors glossaries at the end of each unit, to help learners develop their vocabulary detailed answers in the Answer Book, promoting a thorough understanding of language, which help learners recognise errors and correct them an outcomes-based approach, encouraging student-centred learning an emphasis on developing English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills so that learners can communicate effectively in English.
