There is a legend that says, years ago, there was a terrible crime in Mystic, Maine. The legend also says that the ghost of the criminal haunts the area. If anyone disturbs the scene of the crime, some families in Mystic will be struck with a bad luck curse.
A team of archaeologists has arrived in town to try to figure out what happened in Mystic long ago. Once they arrive, strange things start to happen -- accidents, disappearing objects, and a ghostly sighting. The bad luck curse appears to be coming true! Twins Jen and Zeke must uncover the secrets of the old legend before the curse turns deadly.
