A collection of twenty best horror stories in the English-Polish edition enriched by the timeless illustrations of several artists and information about the author. This edition of the works of Edgar Allan Poe is an interesting collection of an original tales in English and very good translations of these stories made by Boleslaw Lesmian. In addition, the publication has been enriched with full information about the writer's life and death - in English and Polish. Particularly noteworthy is the wonderful collection of illustrations that were created in the nineteenth century by artists such as Harry Clarke, Byam Shaw, JP Laurens, Arthur Rackham and Aubrey Beardsley. Therefore, the publication allows not only to compare the English edition with the excellent Polish translation of Boleslaw Lesmian (which is a very pleasant way to learn Polish). The work also stimulates artistic sensitivity and shows how diverse and rich ideas evoked terrifying stories. Illustrations have black and white colors.
