Filmed on location both in the US and internationally, these videos show similarities and differences in development across cultures throughout the lifespan. Video Guides at the end of every section in the book provide discussion questions to connect the videos with chapter content. Videos are available in multiple formats, including: on an instructor's DVD (ISBN: 0205835236), tied to quizzes in MyDevelopmentLab, and linked to QR codes in the book that enable students to access the videos directly from their smartphones. Answers to in-text discussion questions, are available in the Instructor's Manual.
The cross-cultural video shoot was guided by series editor Ashley Maynard (University of Hawaii, Manoa) with important contributions from Bianca Dahl (Brown University). Video Guide discussion questions were authored by Carol Miller (Anne Arundel Community College).
