Going through the pictures, pointing out the names of each noun and pointing out the spelling of each word will help little ones with learning sight words, it will also help them with beginning to pronounce such words and it will help them to begin with their first level reading.
Also, an aspect of literature which may be different and difficult to understand is poetry. The inadequate or non- teaching of poems in early schools deprives the students of the opportunity to imagine an event or situation and hinders creativity. Early exposure may help kids to understand and even love this genre of literature. Most of the poems in this book have a tune, some rhymes and are singy-songy.
