Publisher's Synopsis
My Magical Dragon is a book about a young boy who falls asleep and let's his imagination take him to discover in his dreams about flying with a dragon. Patrick Cronin is a retired Firefighter/EMT-A and worked for the Village of Elmwood Park. During his down times at the firehouse, he would write short stories about his experiences being a firefighter and he also taught children all about fire safety from a program he initiated called "Elmwood Park Junior Firefighters." He also designed a life saving program for the residents of the village called "Emergency Mag-A Medic." This program would help firefighters responding to an ambulance call diagnose a medical problem if the patient was unconscious. After retiring from the fire department, Patrick worked as a Police Officer for Oakton Community College. He then worked at Benedictine University's Police Department as a Sergeant. Mr. Cronin left Benedictine University to pursue employment with the Illinois Supreme Court as their Security Manager where he is currently employed.
