They have also appeared on the Australian 'The X Factor'. They released their first debut album 'DNA', 2012, which went on the top-5 in eight countries, reaching number 2 in the UK and number 4 in the U.S. The first girl group to enter the U.S. charts since The Pussycat Dolls. Jesy Nelson was born on 14 July 1991 in Romford, England, she got engaged to Jake Roche the lead singer of the group Rixton, in July 2015. Leigh-Anne Pinnock was born on the 4 October 1991, in Buckinghamshire, England, she worked as a waitress. Jade Thirlwall was born on the 26 December 1992, in Laygate, England, were she went to college. Perrie Louise Edwards was born on the 10 July 1993, and was raised in South Shields, England, Were she met Zayn Malik, they became engaged in 2013, but broke it off in 2015.
