Publisher's Synopsis
Grief is the hard work that needs doing when we experience extraordinary pain and loss in order to find a path that enables us to accept our "new normal." The loss of the author's son tested her core beliefs, as she went through periods of loneliness, despair, anger, purpose, her son's purpose, and God's purposes.
My Journey of Grief is intended to help others process their grief as they journey with the author into the darkness of loss and into a brighter view of acceptance. You don't have to agree with it, but accepting for what it is. The author currently resides in Tennessee with her husband and youngest son. She is a retired licensed clinical social worker who has worked with individuals who suffer with anxiety as well as grief. She spends her free time reading and learning to play the piano.
