Publisher's Synopsis
"My Heaven Adventures" by Terri Sue Smith Wawrzynowicz
Introduction
Terri embarked on a spiritual journey in 1971 when a traumatic incident disrupted her walk in life and directed Terri to an entirely new and narrow path. The path was sometimes rough, hard to walk on. At times she wandered off of it, lost and afraid.
Finally, with feet planted firmly on the path, Terri recorded each visit to Heaven as it occurred. Years later she felt compelled to gather the recordings and write a book of the intriguing experiences. Terri's desire is to share with others the incredible sights and education she received from looking through the windows and doors of Heaven.
Terri presently resides in Cornelius, Oregon, with her husband Andy, two dachshunds and two cats.
Summary
"Jim and Terri" is a delightful background of Terri's teenage years, marriage to Jim, and the beginning also of "the path." The background includes the Bynum years with Dad Bynum and his son John. Angels appear in fascinating circumstances that thrill one's spirit. One chapter in the background saga is praying in a husband. Here comes Andy joining the household!
"My Heaven Adventures" are lovingly devoted to ten wonderful people Terri visited in Heaven and their surrounding stories.
Excerpt from "My Heaven Adventures: "
"In a blink, I was standing in Heaven looking at Lynn! She looked beautiful, her hair was darker and her skin was smooth and rested looking. Lynn looked younger.
Lynn was standing on one side of a lilac hedge looking over the top. The leaves were such a vivid green that I cannot even describe the color! The lilac hedges reminded me of the ones on either side of my property on Cactus Road only much more brilliant. The surrounding area looked just like Montana! I saw the beautiful mountains, the valleys and even dirt roads and paths, although there is no dust in Heaven. When I walked, no dust kicked up from my footsteps.
The Lord brought to me an understanding of what I was seeing. Lynn appeared to be in what is a "transition place" in Heaven. You see, Lynn had not wanted to leave earth or her young son, daughters or precious little granddaughter. She had to go through some kind of preparation time before she could move on to another area in Heaven. It was not a bad thing; it was just how it is for some people. Lynn had some adjustments to make. So, she was in "Montana" in Heaven, where there was some familiarity for her and adjustments could be made before going on to the next area in Heaven.
The Lord created everything on earth according to Heaven's likeness. There is a Montana in Heaven! It was there before the Lord created it on earth! Does that mean there is an Africa in Heaven? Is there an Ireland in Heaven? Is there a Canada in Heaven? So many questions needing answers.
Review and Recommendation
This easy-to-read book is written in a casual, folksy way that makes it hard to put down. The perspective of Heaven written in this book is unusual and unique and unlike anything else you may have read. It stays with you long after you put it down.
Incidents suddenly appear in the stories that surprise you. Thought-provoking perspectives stimulate your spiritual senses and cause you to wonder about these possibilities: Can people really come back to life after they die? Can angels look like us? Have you ever seen the devil?
No matter what a person's walk in life is, "My Heaven Adventures" is fascinating reading and presents inspiring views of Heaven with magnificent properties! Your view of Heaven will enlarge and your knowledge of another aspect of what Heaven holds will increase. The delightful reading will prompt you to share "My Heaven Adventures" with your friends!
