The following is a guide for trout fishermen within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as preferred by Paul E Danel, Sr. It was inspired by requests from Paul's sons, Paul, Jr. and Keith, when he shared with them about the many trout streams that he was privileged to fish over a lifetime. He has also included a few personal memories that he experienced while fishing these trout streams over the years. This book, is by no means the typical story of the glory of a fly fisherman, or a catch and release fisherman. "While I dabbled in fly fishing over the years, this is the story of a "Spinning Rod" fisherman that caught my share of trout, filleted and ate them for supper. My wife and children all loved eating our catch." The streams are listed by county in alphabetical order. Directions to the streams start from Greater Johnstown area near the Cambria/Somerset County border line at Windber, PA.
