This touching account of a devoted Dog called Tray, and a sweet girl named Nelly is told in "My dog Tray." Nelly along with her seriously ill dad frequent a hospital in London while the story unfolds. Nelly is left with a vicious landlady that treats her badly and ultimately drives her only friend Tray away after her dad dies. Nevertheless, Tray's intelligence as well as commitment shine through as he seeks medical aid for himself and later for Nelly when she's hurt. The story details a kid and her dog connection, the evil landlady as well as the kindness of strangers - and ends happily for Nelly as well as Tray.
