Now nine years removed from the dissolution of his marriage, Jason begins a journey of redemption--all starting with a simple conversation with a friend, which leads to conversations with others--and still others. Having remarried while in Florida, Melissa experiences a tragic loss, the murder of her husband, a high profile personal injury attorney--that leads to her sudden move back to Indiana. When she and Carrie meet with Jason, they encounter who looks and acts much differently than they remember. Eventually, they find out why.
