Publisher's Synopsis
Murder, by Zoom, was the perfect crime by imperfect people until it wasn't.
A former Jesuit novitiate turned New York City detective, Mike Martel, receives a late-night assignment to investigate the murder of an investment broker killed during a Zoom dinner meeting. The group, formed during their high school years, called itself The Lucky Seven. As the pandemic winds down the group has their final meeting. Now successful and prominent in their professions, include an artist, a concert pianist, a college coach, an architect, a chemist, and a mystery writer, each claiming air-tight alibis, yet a killer is among their number. In the tradition of Agatha Christie, Murder by Zoom combines the elements of her novels Ten Little Indians and Murder on the Orient Express, into an updated whodunit committed during a Zoom meeting.
