This book talks about how we should rejoice in the joy of our salvation. For the joy of the Lord is our strength. Happiness is temporary, but joy is everlasting. Although we endure affliction, pain, disappointment, and trials, we must keep the faith that our weeping and our mourning will be turned into joy. Weeping may endure for a day but joy comes in the morning. The greater the suffering, the greater the reward. Our suffering in not in vain. We labor not in vain. In due season, we shall reap a harvest that we will not have enough room to store. In our working and our laboring, we must be patient. We have the fruit of the spirit, which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, and faith. We must endure hardness like a good soldier. We have the power to cast down the power of darkness and shine light in a dark world around us. We have to power to influence change by spreading the love of God through our praise, our song, and our dance.
