Publisher's Synopsis
When black ex-football player turned nightclub bouncer Doug "Moose" McCrae is woken by a woman's bone chilling scream, falling back to sleep is not an option, he's going to get involved. Armed with boxer shorts and a Glock 17 Moose is chilled out by hte scene. Four massive Pit Bull Terriers are mauling a young woman that's putting up one hell of a fight. Moose charges in, she's not dying tonight. If they survive the attack he's going to find out who's responsible because Moose knows this is no random event--he can feel it.
Moose gets more than he bargained for in helping Alexandra, the stunning, shy, but tough Latina woman. Turning over stones during the investigation leads Moose to a dangerous underground dog fight ring, a crooked developer that's gunning for the Mayor's seat and cops that don't want Moose poking around. Odds makers wouldn't bet on Moose but he moves forward regardless, it's how he rolls!
