Publisher's Synopsis
A river bait-lady's poetry, singing, and determination, lead us through
a tale of humans and frogs and prove the only thing that really matters
is love. Only those with a pure heart could talk with and hear a large
bullfrog who becomes involved in a quest to be with his love and return
to the lap of the bait-lady. Gertie, a tough-talking Irish lass, raised a
beautiful young girl who becomes the love of a rich man's son. The
young girl and the man's son decide to marry causing a problem with
the wealthy finance CEO. The CEO's attempted manipulation fails,
his trusted employees threaten him with his demise, and the bait-lady
comes to his rescue. All the while, the frog prevails after a dangerous
but heart-warming escape. As Gertie, Moonlight Bandit, and all the
characters discover... love IS really all that matters.
