Publisher's Synopsis

A wonderful tiger story showing the values of perseverance, independence and initiative

Every year, when the moon is in the eucalyptus trees, all the tigers in the country come together to dance. They make a giant circle, holding the tail of the tiger in front, and they dance in the light of the eucalyptus moon. But, unfortunately for Teeho, he is too young to dance – it would be against the rules. Teeho stomps off, and runs into a friend who reminds him that he could do his own dance, and no one could say there was a rule against it. So Teeho practices and practices, and when the time comes, he begins: One step forward, one step back, a turn to the side and a flick of the tail. It looks so much fun that the older tigers are impressed and they join in. Teeho has earned his place in the Moondance.
