Monsters is the story of a small town that turns on its first LGBT group and executes those involved like they were witches, killing them in horrific ways. Unfortunately for them they missed the town's actual witch who could not make the meeting. She subsequently calls on dark powers to bring her friends back from the dead as monsters to exact their bloody revenge on the townsfolk. In the ultimate revenge fantasy come to gory life along the way the resurrected find out the cruelest secret of the damned and possibly the worst torture of them all beyond what even the dead can bare. That the deceased hunger for more than the flesh and blood of the living, but also their pleasures. That even tortured and vengeful spirits betrayed by those they cared for most desire more than just their justified revenge. That a hopeless and cursed soul can still love.
Follow along as they each learn something about themselves on their search for bloody vengeance and get a peek into the minds of their enemies in the hopes that even the worst people can possibly learn to recognize when they have done wrong. Even if it is only moments before they have their lungs ripped out through their nostrils.
With plenty of opposition Collie sets herself up against hallowed traditions and bigoted sensibilities with Julie and her accepting family by her side she's going to do her best to make the world a better place. Even if it means overcoming protestors, solving a murder, irate family members, and fighting not just for her own rights, but for the freedom of everyone who stands with her to be whoever they want to be.
