In spring 2009, Samira Manning returns home to the sleepy southern town of Canterbury Cove. She slips into the attic affectionately known as the Princess Lair. It's still reminiscent of the 1980's. Tormented by the past, the women are captivated by a patch of old photos taped to the attic wall, and yearn to rewrite their lives.
