After surviving a rough childhood, Brooke proved that despite the challenges she could make something of herself especially with the unexpected inheritance from her father. Like so many women who were smart in business, she made a bad choice for a husband in Jude, who eventually stole everything from her, or so he thought. Bent on revenge, she put in motion a plot to recoup her business from her devious husband who had been busy fathering children, some without Brooke's knowledge.
