Publisher's Synopsis
One day, shortly after my mom was diagnosed with cancer, she asked me to start a game. We would each pick a word for each other starting with a letter in the alphabet from a to z. What we thought would be 27 days of fun, went on for years. These reminders of our love came out during the harder times and the easier times. Even while I was in Guatemala and she was starting her Chemo, we reached out to each other. This book held us together and it will continue to hold us together. Now, I am happy to say that I am getting our words published as a surprising mother's day gift for her. While I started on this, friends began to ask to buy copies and they said how much this would mean to their daughter or to their mom. The most recent friend to look it over cried. That is when it became clear I should make this available to anybody who may want it. So here it is! Our book has all letters of the alphabet and each page has a spot at the bottom for, you, the reader to add your own thoughts. As well, our notes to each other are within the book for each letter. Seeing ours may help you brainstorm your own. It may remind you of your own good times or your own accomplishments. It will also give you flexibility seeing as we 'broke the rules' on a few letters, like x. Please, let those around you that you love know that you love them. Tell them daily. Tell them boldly. Tell them with as many words as you can express. Life goes by just too quickly.
