Molly is a young girl with far too many bullies. What she needs is a friend - a big one with fur, fangs, and terrible claws. Unfortunately, what she gets is Nightmare, an argumentative creature who seems put off by the notion that he will be a little girl's sidekick. Despite their differences, the two develop a loyal friendship that spans Molly's entire life.
