This study analyzes various approaches to the problem of dispersion: different environments; types of theory; and experimental techniques. The papers include studies of atmospheric dispersion, particulate as well as solute transport, turbulence measurements and modelling, uncertainty estimation for transport predictions, and some novel experimental techniques for studies of mixing and transport.
