Neben der linken Fenstergruppe ist aus dem sonst durchaus viereckigen Gemach ein Verschlag ausgespaart. Derselbe bildet einen kleinen Flur, der den Ausgang zum Hofe vermittelt und für das Zimmer als eine Art Wind fang dient. Er ist auf der Zeichnung von Fig. 23 nicht mehr zu sehen.
