When a new history teacher starts working at Pembroke House prep school in Kenya, the students are not sure what to make of him at first. Mister Ram, a peculiar man with a striking voice, is not discouraged by this and takes four young boys under his wing. Little did they know what their gifted instructor was capable of and where he would take them next. So begins a journey for the students and Mister Ram through time and space, going back in history to endure life changing events, experiencing both immense pain and indescribably pleasures, and discovering their connection to the origin of humankind.
