Publisher's Synopsis
Made-for-TV fantasy drama starring John Huston in one of his final screen roles. The feature, directed by Huston's son, Danny, is set in England on New Year's Eve 1767. Being forced to work on what should be a night of celebration is the final straw for Benjamin Partridge (Mark Farmer), the long-suffering employee of the cold and tyrannical Mr Corbett (Paul Scofield), and he uses his skills as an apothecary to put a curse on his employer's life. However, is he fully prepared for what may follow his experimentation with the dark arts? Huston appears as the 'Soul Collector'.
